Welcome to PACE!

Program for Academic and Career Empowerment at Virginia Randolph

PACE is a nontraditional program that serves overaged middle school students. The program is designed to remediate students and enable them to experience success with their high school peers the following school year. This unique program provides students with small class sizes, an individualized learning program, faculty mentorship, blended online curricula and project-based learning. PACE emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, critical thinking and innovation. Students also explore electives and earn a minimum of three high school credits.

Eighth grade students who are one or more years over age are eligible for the program. All student applicants, 14 years or older,  will be reviewed for possible admission. A mandatory interview with the student and parent or guardian must be held prior to admission.
