About Mentoring

Henrico HEROES Mentoring Program envisions a community in which every youth experiences nurturing one-to-one relationships and community support. The programs are designed to help students who are in grades 8-10, attend school less than 80% of the time, have failed Math or English, and who have a higher than average number of discipline referrals.

There are two mentoring programs on campus – PACE Yourself (PACE) and The C.H.A.N.G.E. Project (The Academy). The 2013-14 school year will be full of opportunities where mentors and mentees can establish a long-lasting relationship. The video link below highlights activities implemented during the 2012-13 school year. We plan to take our program to a higher level this year!
